FAQs

  • each class is different, so please double check the description when you book ~ however! please wear what makes you feel comfortable. from tiny stripper outfits to shorts or sweats, we want you to feel like yourself (but also be able to grip the pole when desired). you can be barefoot, wear socks, or bring heels (but no outside shoes in the studio please). lastly, knee pads are highly encouraged!

  • avoid lotions or oils of any kind the day of class! trust us.

    long sleeves and pants might impact your grip and make some aerial pole moves more challenging, so keep that in mind if signing up for a move-oriented class!

  • nope! you can wear whatever makes you feel good (but please no street shoes in the studio)

  • ~ absolutely not! ~ we’re here to help you condition for pole. it’s a gradual process, and if you’re new, get ready for a workout, but don’t feel like you’re behind. we all start somewhere! our instructors will happily meet you where you’re at.

  • we have a variety of classes on our schedule, which does change from time to time. some are moves-based and some are more about flowing and/or choreo sequences. some are their own category entirely! visit our instagram or our scheduling page to read descriptions, and feel free to email us if you have any questions

  • classes can be intimidating, we know! and sometimes its nice to have that one-on-one time to really work on that one move that's been stumping you for months.

    while we don't book private lessons through our scheduling page, many of our instructors offer private lessons at Fig in their free time. please reach out to your desired instructor to inquire about booking!

  • most likely, yes! please email us at figtreepole@gmail.com with your desired date + time, as well as what you hope to use the studio for. we'll get back to you soon and block off the time on our calendar for you if everything seems like a good fit :-)
